Joe instantly made me feel at home, I couldn’t really ask for a nicer host. The house was beautiful and the location was stunning. Traveling on ny own can get lonely but Joe made me feel very welcome. Highly recommend staying at Guesthouse Oomiya Base.

Price was great. Just be prepared for train noise. But the other side of that it is literally right next to the train station. The convenience was outstanding. The hallways could use a little refreshing. But if you're traveling it's a great stop for a night or two when needed at a great value. I would stay again if needed. It's a quick jump to Narita.

I came late, trains just stopped, had to get up early(i dont sleep out on holidays) and slept like a baby the 4 nights I was here. Very clean and comfortable beds. Its not a up to date modern hotel, but its no less space there than other hotels in Japan, a bit bigger room I would say. It does get som criticism for being close to the rail tracks, I had no problem with that. I would gladly stay here again. Responsive staff.

Our group had an event to go to nearby so this was perfect for a single nights stay. The host was friendly and quick to communicate! It was clean when we arrived and they left a little message by the door. They helped send information about parking spaces nearby since the road is too small for a car to fit.
