Love the Ashinomak onsen town. We went for the annual snow festival in Ouchi Juku and it was so nice. The view from our window was snowy mountains and the futons were comfy. The staff was so friendly, they called a taxi to take us to the snow festival and the taxi got us there and back. They have tea and water in the lobby. The decor is very nice and good for photo ops. Parking was available even without reservation and of course the onsen was nice.

Beautiful traditional building that was kept immaculately clean, beds were super comfy and heating was perfect. The ladies running the inn were so nice, and went above and beyond to help us with our requests, even though we could not speak Japanese. Highly recommend this place! The bath here was so lovely too. A big thank you to the ladies running the inn for their superb hospitality! :)

I liked the quiet location. A delicious ramen shop was within walking distance and everyone was so kind. The home is spacious and met our needs wonderfully. The host had the house warm for us upon our arrival. Easy to get to and a pleasant stay.

It was so spacious. After a few nights in hostel dorms, it was nice to have my own big room for the same price.

I liked that I could book a private bath. Breakfast was also delicious. Our room was big and comfortable. Ah, and we were given yukata and we were also encouraged to wear them inside the hotel. All in all a great experience.
