Exceptional nice place to stay on the shore of Issyk Kul, for ones who think staying there, short directions how to get there from Bishkek : take microbus from Bishkek western bus station to Bakanbaevo, leaves every 30 minutes and then short ride to the camp, the owner took us both ways, we enjoyed local dishes and even short folklore show during our dinner. All the appliances worked fine and the view of lake is just magical, thank you.

Svetlana's place is just amazing. The location is beautiful, it's a small family run place, just two yurts and two or three rooms. The homemade food is absolutely incredible. We stayed in a room rather than a yurt, it was large and cool and the shared bathroom was only shared with one other room. It's a peaceful place, they have made a little orchard, there's swing seats and benches to relax and enjoy the environment, clothes racks for drying swimming stuff and two minutes walk from the lake.

This was a clean and beautiful guest house located within easy walking distance from the downtown area. It had a peaceful garden in the back. The owner helped us arrange an English-speaking tour experience that made our 2nd day very enjoyable.

Very gracious hosts. Let us eat many apples and pears from their garden which were delicious. Breakfasts were good. They were helpful when needed to ask for directions to restaurants, market, taxi, and marshrutkas. Beds are comfortable. Water is hot with pressure. We were the only guests during our stay and it was very quiet and peaceful.

    We stayed in a yurt and the experience was amazing. There is a toilet and shower right next to the yurt. The host is such a nice lady, we had a tasty breakfast at her place. We were offered some activities in and around the village, unfortunately we didn't have time to try these.

    The hosts are very friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome. The house is very close to the village centre, close to the tourist office and where the marshrukas and taxis arrive and depart from. The family's adult son speaks excellent English and is a trained tour guide who can advise on tours and activities. For people like us who simply wish to go hiking in the nearby countryside, the place is perfect as many streets lead either to the beaches or into the hills.
