The property is nice and clean, well organized. The owner and the staff there were really friendly and attentive. 2 dogs and 2 cats on site but really tranquil. Bring your own food is a nice option since they have anything you need for cooking. Large area of lawn make it family friendly especially for the kids.

I really can't say enough about welcoming, serviceable and friendly host(s)! The rooms were safe and secure. My particular room had a large kitchen, bathroom and a large bedroom. Airconditioning as well. Very clean. Remarkably priced. Many restaurants within walking distance.

Our hostess, Iris, was fantastic. She was very friendly, very courteous, very knowledgeable. Any questions we had, she answered immediately. The apartment was very clean and we were provided with everything we needed.

Mrs. Lilia is super friendly and helpful, she arranged a car/ taxi for me at a very good rate too. The room was already with airco on, nice and cold (36 degrees celcius in Panama that day I landed); very clean room and bathroom! The location is very close to the airport, and a super quite neighborhood off the main street. Not much around for you to go walk around or shopping. But I was there to eat (ordered takeout) and sleep (taxi would pick me up at 5am the next day). I stayed 1 night as I was doing a layover in Panama City, and I did nto want to stay in the city or near the center as my flight left super early the next day.

Hostal EL Prado is a recently renovated guest house in Panama City where guests can make the most of its terrace and shared lounge. The air-conditioned accommodations are 4.2 miles from Ancon Hill.

I have never experienced such kind helpful staff. Manuel goes above and beyond to help. When we arrived we were having contacting a airline to arrange a ticket refund- he could not have been more helpful and with success. Whilst in Panama we were subject to petty crime and Manuel contacted the Police and came with us to the station to make a statement . We had a bigger room . It was quiet, very clean with a comfortable bed and pillows. The WiFi worked well and the room had air-con. The kitchen was well equipt and we cooked a few meals. The staff will do your laundry on site for $6 a load. Excellent location- lots of shops ( food stores) and restaurants nearby. Via Argentina is a 10-15min walk. All in all we were so pleased that we chose Hostel IBRAIS - we came back for another stay! (Manuel stored our bags and had helped organise a San Blas tour)

This place had everything we wished for. We have stayed 5 nights in total with breaks in between as we were moving around the country, and each time we had a flexible check in and check out, the administration stored our luggage and we have been in touch with them via WhatsApp which was super convenient. The rooms are fully equipped and air-conditioned. Everything was clean and comfortable. Staying in a container is also an experience :) There were quite some options to choose from for breakfast and we also appreciated the possibility to park for free right in front of our room. The location is great - there are shops, restaurants and a huge shopping center at the walking distance from the accommodation. Thanks a lot for everything - you made our trip even better! If we ever travel to Panama city again, we will definitely book the stay here :)
