Our stay at OM Yoga center was so much more than what we expected and intended it to be - a comfortable one-night respite, not far from the highway to Ljubljana - our next destination. On top of the "normal" expectations (ease of access, comfortable beds, cleanliness, area safety ), that were all checked, a real surprise was the interaction with Manica, the manager of the place. Very forthcoming, kind, and helpful, she accommodated our last minute request for a guided yoga session. A lifelong yogi, specialized in Jyotish-vedic astronomy, she handcrafted masterfully the session to our needs and capabilities, such that it was challenging but not at all daunting. Our only regret was that we didn't plan on a much longer stay. Thank you, Manica! We're definitely considering returning. 🙏🏼🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏼

Also while the owners live next door in another house, their presence is hardly noticed besides at arrival and to provide you with some info about things to do and places to see.

I loved the quiet aura of this place. The small details, like a personalized greeting upon entrance and games as conversation starters, added to the absolute tranquility. We stayed at the house with the jacuzzi; heating it costs an extra €69 for the duration of your stay. The house is located on a steep hill. Our unit had a kids' bedroom filled with toys (a bunk bed and a single bed) and a main bedroom with a great bed and a lovely view. The kitchen was well-equipped with all necessary utensils (except for a microwave), and there was a large bathroom with a family-sized bathtub. The breakfasts are an adventure in themselves. We had pancakes and sandwiches, but everything was prepared to be a feast for the eyes and mouth, using many local ingredients. You can have your breakfast delivered in baskets right to your doorstep. While there is no playground, there are plenty of walking opportunities and hiking trails nearby. The local town has all the shops you would expect, though most are closed on Sundays except for some bakeries.

Great and hospitable owner, we were running late for check in he didn't mind to stay 25 minutes after working hours (10PM). Rooms and bathrooms are basic, but spacious and clean, with all what you need for few days active stay. Heating is sufficient, TV working with plenty of channels. Breakfast is royal for the price, with plenty of choice, and lots of tea, milk and coffee. Dinner menu is also good, food is delicious and portions are big.
