Located 750 m from the town's center of Halls Gap. Couples can enjoy a romantic getaway in the corner Spa or bring the whole family accommodating up to six with a double and two singles upstairs. Great location, very comfortable. The A-Frame suited our needs for our short stay perfectly. The place was immaculately clean. There was tea and coffee on arrival. Tim provided us with a bottle of wine also (which we accidentally left behind, but that's OK - we appreciated the gesture).

Ngaire greeted us as we arrived & offered excellent explanations on hikes and other areas of interest as well as eateries. The place was FULL of wildlife: birds, “Roos”, wallabies, was that frogs we heard at night? We felt as one with nature at this special place. The place (cabin) was complete home away from home offering comfort (our room was w/o a tub) & serenity. A wonderful experience from Los Angeles travelers! We felt the staff was truly passionate & put love & care to their place.

Hawksview at Mafeking is a 3-bedroom villa, located in the southern Grampians, between Halls Gap and Dunkeld. The property is set on tranquil farmland with expansive views and abundant wildlife. Lovely villa in a remote location with stunning views. Very well equipped and thoughtful additions for children and things to do on a rainy day. Very comfy beds nice decor and have I mentioned the view. Roos grazing around the property at dawn and dusk and the little blue wrens were very entertaining. Have to be prepared to be 40 mins from any shops ....but that adds to the feeling of being in amongst the mountains. As soon as I arrived I booked an extra night ....and longer would have been nice....but not possible. Interesting gold mining site at Mafeking worth doing the walk around the area. Very enjoyable.

Just a 5-minute drive from the Grampians National Park, Halls Gap Lakeside Tourist Park features a heated outdoor swimming pool. A free WiFi hotspot is available in the reception area. Being so close to nature. The glamping tent’s location within the park gives stunning views and quiet - away from the crowds. Good and clean facilities.
