We LOVED this place. Rooms were beautiful and so clean and cosy! The communal areas were spotless, the staff were super helpful (download WeChat for easy communication) and the food was super tasty! It’s a 20-25 minute walk to the Great Wall. They can sort a car for you but you don’t need it. It was so nice to finish a full day at the Wall then just walk back to this place which was warm, cozy and had great tea. The kids loved it and we felt right at home from the minute we walked in. The apartment faces a wide stretch of urban view, giving off a very amazing view. and because of the high floor, I can view the first snow of Beijing 2023, with the large windows and carpeted window seat and a table to enjoy my hot chocolate, it was very calming and relaxing. The apartment also includes a laundry machine, although it is not equipped with a dryer, there is also a drying rack that you can use under the AC, leave it overnight and your clothes are good to go. The apartment also includes a kitchen, which helps a lot when I want to eat takeouts and heat the food in the microwave. I had a great time overall. And another plus, I arrived around 10 PM, it is very tiring and I would like to rest immediately. The owner is very tactful, so we proceed with payments on the next day and I get to pay with cash. The owner also gladly registered my stay as I am a foreigner in an apartment for locals so that if any officer asked, I wouldn't get in trouble for missing stay accommodation information.

The apartment is located in a residential building next to a subway station. There is shop downstairs and a cafe with one of the 3 english speaking ladies we met in the whole Bejing. Owner was extremely helpful, showed us around, recommended restaurants nearby and when my colleague forgot his airpods in the room, he sent them the next day to shanghai. Very honest and reliable person! In general, there is nothing to complaint about and you will have an authentic Beijing experience

So glad we chose this place and to explore The Wall here. Lilly and Yang the hosts of this wonderful property are two of the nicest people we have ever met. Everyone one of us felt so welcome and really felt like home, we could not have asked for more, everything was perfect. I wish I could go there every night for dinner the food was delicious, the rooms are beautifully decorated and the location is absolutely perfect for the wall.

Yue Tong Farmer House features air-conditioned guest accommodation in Huairou, 26 km from Great Wall of China - Huanghuacheng, 43 km from Ming Tombs and 13 km from Shengquan Temple. Loved our stay there. The location was excellent. The village peaceful, charming and clean. The people really nice. The hosts took us to the ticket office of Great wall and came to pick us up- we also arranged with them the transportation to airport going back. They were really adorable and sweet. Highly recommended - as mentioned in the other posts, language was not a real issue. We all managed to communicate and had an incredible stay. We loved the open space concept of the place. Made you feel as part of the family.

Situated 2.5 km from Gubei Water Town in Miyun and Simatai Great Wall, 20 km from Jinshanling Great Wall, Jumanyuan House features air-conditioned rooms and free private parking. The hosts were super hospitable, warm and friendly. The owner came to Beijing Airport to pick me up and brought me safely to their home. It felt like a homestay with home cooked breakfast. The breakfast was sumptuous, and had this very homestyle feel. The location is just six minutes away from the Gubei Watertown and Simatai Great Wall. I wanted to see the Great Wall at night so I chose to stay here. The owner drove me to Gubei Watertown and back to the hotel so transportation was fine and good. Wifi was fine and the bed was huge. Again, the owners were so kind and friendly. I felt like a VIP.
