Small (about 14 rooms), modern, hotel in a good location for visiting various places e.g. Catarata Uvita, Nauyaca Waterfalls, Parque Nacional Marino Ballena, Hacienda Baru Wildlife Refuge. Many evening dining out options in the local vicinity, although the hotel owner told us there are plans to offer an evening meal option at Ballena Rey very soon. We had room 12: good balcony space, with 2 armchairs, small table top and 2 stalls, cacti at each end of the balcony, ceiling fan; the open plan kitchen and living room area was spacious, with air-conditioning and ceiling fan, 2 armchairs, TV, table and 2 chairs and sufficiently equipped kitchen (though 2 rings for cooking would be preferable to the one ring provided) and good-sized fridge/freezer; spacious shower room with hot water (some of the places we stayed at during our 31 night trip didn't have hot water); bedroom - reasonably comfortable bed, hanging and shelf storage space, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, one bedside table. Very good buffet breakfast - the breakfast ladies did a great job and it was lovely to be able to choose what you wanted, how much you wanted, in what order etc. Very good cleaning service provided in the room and in the hotel grounds. Lovely pool, which we made good use of. And the staff were all very friendly! We really enjoyed our stay at Ballena Rey and were sorry to leave.

We loved our 3-night stay at Magic Mountain! The hosts were warm and helpful, the property was spotless and secure, and the setting was beautiful. No A/C, but the cool evening temps made it unnecessary. Excellent breakfasts, accurate photos (though even better in person), and a great location—less than 5 mins to town with a restaurant and supermarket nearby. Highly recommend!

The Manager was nice and notified us we had forgotten our suitcase with a photo. On top he speaks good English and Spanish. Great place to stay, to relax and explore the city and nightlife!

Corcovado House With Pool se nachází v destinaci Puerto Jiménez a nabízí zahradu, celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén a výhled do zahrady. The location was very good, 900m walk to public pier from which we took a boat to Corcovado. It also has some good sodas nearby. Moreover, the apartment itself is very spacious, clean and overall feels new. Finally, hosts allowed us to park a car nearby the apartments for few days, while we away to the Corcovado park either overnight stay.

The hospitality of Sergio and Katia was the best service I’ve seen in Costa Rica. They’re such kind and lovely people. The breakfast was always great, the room cleanliness and the size of the room was really good too. Location is just a short walk to the nearest town and very close to drive to nearby activities. Sergio helped us book activities and gave us lots of knowledge of the area. He answered all our questions whenever we had any. If you’re looking for a place to stay In Monteverde don’t skip this place!

Pura Vida Apartment with nice pool walking distance to the heart of Jaco se nachází v destinaci Jacó a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, soukromou pláž a ubytování s bezplatným Wi-Fi a výhledem na... Ubytování je sice mimo centrum Jacó, ale je tu hlavně v nocí klid. Hned přes ulici je prodejna nápojů a drobností, nedaleko pak kavárny a Soda Garabito s dobrým jídlem. Do centra je to cca 10 minut chůze (na hlavní ulici).

Riverside Villas se nachází v destinaci Manuel Antonio a má restauraci, pokojovou službu, bar, zahradu, celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, terasu a výhled na řeku. Very nice place. Carlos was a great host and even allowed us to check in at noon already. The restaurant is highly recommended (the food is perpared freshly and with whatever catch of the days they find on the local markets). Great base for visiting manuel antonio and other sights.

Casa Uvita Bay has a very good location surrounded by peace. The place is very cozy and rooms are super clean and comfortable. The pool area is very nice to chill out. Scarlet (the host) is super friendly and she really expects you enjoy the most while there.

Mochis se nachází v destinaci Quepos a poskytuje bezplatné Wi-Fi a terasu. Národní park Manuel Antonio se nachází 8,1 km odtud a Marina Pez Vela 1,6 km. I enjoyed my stay here so much I came back the following week! I can't fault it..it was super clean, quiet, the check in was easy and the owner was very kind and accommodating, and the internet was fast (I was working online via zoom during my stay and had no problems with connection or internet speed). The kitchen was well-equipped with everything I needed, and the apartment is a short walk from the harbour and the centre of Quepos. I highly recommend it and would choose it again in the future.

Beautiful cabin, furnished to a high quality with lovely bed linen and towels. Set in an amazing forest where you can walk, see birds and the trees and plants many of which have information about them. There is a pool ideal for cooling down. Very peaceful at night.
