The guest house provides garden views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available throughout the property. Kasa was extremely comfortable, modern, and well-designed. Food portions were very generous, excellent wifi, and there was also free drinking water (instead of having to buy small bottles all the time). Ana helped with planning my hikes and organizing a guide. It's not too long a walk to Paul to catch the aluguers though it's important to keep in mind the island is huge and it takes time and money to get around. I regretted moving to another area b/c I really loved my stay here.

Situated in Pombas in the Santo Antao region, Luz d'Sol - Residencial Familiar has a balcony. With sea views, this accommodation features a terrace. The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. It is a 3-storey building run by a very welcoming family. The breakfast is the best we have tasted in the whole island, with a lot of quantity and the quality was excellent (they made homemade sponge cake!!). The host family are very nice, friendly and welcoming. They are learning many languages, and try to speak to you in your own language. The room was clean, air-conditioned, and brand new (in fact, they are working on the upper floor to make more rooms). It is without a doubt, our most recommended stay in Cape Verde!!!

Set in Paul, Pousada do Ceu features accommodation with seating area. With sea views, this accommodation offers a balcony. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Location is flawless - on a quiet street, but just off the main road. Aluguars stop virtually opposite the property and are very frequent, both going up the Paul Valley and along the coastal road. There is a little mini market just around the corner, open until 20:00. The owner is super - helpful and able to advise on all the best walks in the area. He suggested a much better walk than the one we initially wanted to do; he had maps and suggested places to eat. The room was very comfortable, clean, and the balcony was a nice bonus. The kitchen area is really nice, half al-fresco. All the staff were lovely and kind and very helpful. The internet works fine - there are 2 networks to choose from. I was also very grateful to have access to a guest fridge in the kitchen area. We regretted cancelling one of the 2 nights we'd initially wanted to stay and only staying 1. For bonus points, there is also a little 8-week-old puppy :)

The view is also magical, and can provide you the rare opportunity to see whales ! Something you don’t want to miss ! The owner is really nice, and will provide you good advices.

Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the mountain and garden. Very good location, nice spacious room and terrace. Guillaume arranged our transfers from/to ferry, early breakfast before our departure and had recommendations ready for restaurants, tours and activities, maps and books on the area and Cape Verde were available. We appreciated the care taken to conserve water and energy, reduce waste. Bonus: the best restaurant in town, Caleta is couple of minutes away.

Rooms here will provide you with a balcony and a terrace. Featuring a shower, private bathrooms also come with a bath and free toiletries. You can enjoy sea view and mountain view from all the rooms. The best part about Casa Cavoquinho is the location! Waking up to a view of the Paúl Valley is indescribable and so beautiful to experience. It’s like something out of a film. A true gem. You’re also close to some great hikes. The rooms are a bit more simple, but the property is clean and well-maintained. Great service and communication from the staff all around. The breakfast and dinner they serve is also delicious. I would come back here and recommend this place to friends.

The villa consists of 3 bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a coffee machine, and 3 bathrooms with a walk-in shower and a hair dryer. Towels and bed linen are offered in the villa. The property has an outdoor dining area. We were met by Lieve at the Ferry Terminal, she arranged a rental car and guided us to the villa (10 minutes from the Ferry Terminal). Lieve and Geert went out of there way to make our stay as comfortable as possibe. The Villa has been built by them with an eye for detail. The villa is very spacious, 3 spacious bedrooms, each with a toilet/bath room, in two of these rooms next to the double beds bunkbeds for two kids. In living room an additional seperate toilet on top. Also a spacious kitchen with everything you need. The swimming pool is covered every evening so it stays warm (28 Celsius). Very important in winter months, we were at some other places where swimming was only for the brave (24 C) or even unbarable (20 C).

The accommodation is non-smoking. Casa BB&Djassi felt like home - with big thanks to the ladies who take amazing care of the house and their guests, Talyna, Djenny and Ana. The rooms are comfortable, the location great and it was just a happy place to be. I’m not the only one who extended my stay while there! Communication was also excellent - with the team accommodating my request for good internet in my room, as well as providing multiple options to work across the house. I’ll definitely be back. The accommodation offers full-day security and a minimarket for guests. Great location, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, and super friendly staff. David and the girls will go out of their way to help you have a nice stay. I spent four nights there, and it was a perfect base to explore the island from, and a relaxing place to return to after a long day of hiking. Highly recommended.
