If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the place. Sydney & his wife (Normelien) truly make your stay worth it. I stayed for a week, and it went too fast. You start experiencing travel fever as soon as you start packing. Normelien reached out and wished me the best of luck with the travel via what's app ( this is what I call going above and beyond ). Sydney picked me up from the airport. Compared to other taxi prices, Sydney charged less, and on top of that, he drove me around as I went to a friend's wedding. Their hospitality is out of this world. You feel relaxed and at home as soon as you enter. Breakfast was always on time, and coffee was always available. Emma bridge is within walking distance Pirate Bay beach is also within walking distance if you fancy a walk next to the sea. All the restaurants are close by ( Chinese, Indian, local, and international) And many other things for you to discover Most importantly, the rooms had lovely Airconditioning ( keeping the inside cold), which was a great feeling after returning. This was the best choice because Sydney made my stay worth it, and I will travel back with my family next time.

I had a wonderful time in this fabulous place, that offers you a "feel like home" stay. Everything is very artistic, functional and each detail is taken care of. The loft has a small and totally functional kitchen, a huge comfortable bed, dinner and resting area, and a nice outside space with a view to the splendid garden. Johannes was very kind and helpful, and so is the staff. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, located in the center of the island, which was really strategic to reach any site, in at maximum 30 min. That's the time my longest trip demanded. The environment is adult public oriented, very easy going, free and private. I can't thank you enough for the wonderful days at Thuishaven!

Very nice apartment house with own pool that is only shared with the few other guests. Everything was very clean and communication with host excellent. Location is not at the beach but close by (~10min walk) and I’d say it’s one of the best places to stay because it’s quiet, spacious and really nice. At the beach it’s quite crowded but also really nice. There are several beach bars with sunbeds and supermarkets close to the house. All in all, we were absolutely happy with our choice and can highly recommend to stay here.
