It's a very peaceful place .Garden looks amazing like on the picture also have very nice natural pool.We stay in bungalow and we loved it. Location of the place is perfect one street over from the beach and all restaurants walkable everywhere.Hosts Alex and Kamille were very helpful and welcoming. i will definitely recommend Casa Picaflor. I liked the location. It was tucked away and quiet but also in close proximity to just about everything. Town and beaches within walking distance. The beds were so comfortable. Stefano and staff were very attentive. We asked with help decorating and getting a cake for our niece's birthday, and they went above and beyond. We would definitely stay here again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful apartment in Bella Villa for two weeks and were truly impressed and happy from start to finish. The apartment is exceptionally clean and comfortable, equipped with everything you need. The property is stunning—immaculate grounds filled with lush greenery, and a gorgeous pool that’s always sparkling and inviting. It’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The location is ideal—just a short walk (15 minutes) to the charming village of Las Galeras, where you’ll find everything you need, delicious local restaurants, groceries and supplies. The friendly local moto taxis will get you back home in just a few minutes. Even better, you are only a few minutes walk from one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic—La Playita, where you can rent a lounge chair for the day and enjoy the solitude at one end or the slightly busier vibe towards the beach restaurant at the other. One of the best parts of the experience was the people. The local community is so warm and welcoming—it’s easy to feel like you belong here. The on-site caretakers, Marilin and her husband, are incredibly helpful and attentive, always around if you need anything and ensuring everything at Bella Villa is clean, safe, and peaceful.
