The room was perfect, with a cute kitchen area and pool. Walk to town was easy - don’t let it put you off!

Comfortable, large room with kitchen had everything we needed. Very good location close to the centre and located next to quiet street. Joel, our host, was super nice and helpful. He helped us to book local tours to Tintoreras and Minas Azufras in good prices. He also borrowed us his bicycles, for free. We had very nice stay.

Great stay, very clean and comfortable, good AC. Spacious bathroom, hot water working. Room cleaning and new towels every day. Convenient bike rental (10 usd per bike per day), although not the best condition of the bikes. Good location in a side street about 10-15 mins walk to the center and the port. Friendly hosts. The place looks better in reality than on pictures.

The home was beautiful and very clean. Great additions, such as being able to get laundry done, cold drinking water, and snorkeling equipment for your use. Would definitely recommend staying here.

He was extremely communicative, making sure all my needs were met. The Apartment was lovely. It was spacious, airy and quite large, a duplex with the bedroom and lavatory on the 2nd floor and a full kitchen, siting area and a patio. It was easy to access the town center once I gave it a go. My time spent was super. I highly recommend considering staying here if you are visiting Santa Cruz. Thank you again Walter for all your amazing service and help!!

I stayed there for 9 nights very recently. There are three reasons why I rate this hostal so highly. Firstly, comfort. I had a full one bedroom apartment with all amenities. The unit is bright, very high ceilings, excellent AC, full kitchen, clean and has great Galápagos character. Secondly, value. This is incredible value! Thirdly and most of all, the hosts - they are such a charming and real couple. Anita and her husband Danielle are the real deal. They are most gracious. Thank you guys.

She was so communicative and responsive from the moment we booked and throughout our stay. She sat down with us and told us about her favorite restaurants, lent us aloe when I got sunburned, and let us borrow her fins since we had had trouble finding some in the size we needed. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with hot water in the shower and an air conditioner that worked well. We ended up booking a few tours through her as too and we were so pleased with the quality of those as well. Can't recommend the Black Pearl enough!

We loved our stay in finch house. Close to restaurants and 5 minutes walk from the Malecon. The rooms are very spacious and aircon and shower are great. Would highly recommend staying here in Santa Cruz

We stayed at different places during our Galapagos trip and Posada del Mar was the best of them. The host Carlos was very hospitable and friendly. He recommended an agency to book a ferry to another island and showed us where to buy SIM cards. Also, we got a room upgrade for free because better options were vacant – very kind of him. The location is perfect. Heart of the city, 2 min walk to the pier, but located on a quiet street. Lots of corner shops and cafes nearby. Rooms: clean and bright, look the same as you see in photos. Aircons work well. Depending on the room, windows will face either the pier and the ocean or a calm neighborhood. Some pleasant trifles: drinking water in rooms and at the reception, an elevator for your luggage, tea and coffee for free, a common area with a balcony and a kitchen on the top floor.
