There is Starlink WiFi which works (if you consider that you are on Isabela) pretty well. Also there is a nice common used area with water, coffee and a fridge. We loved our stay and recommend Black Pearl to everyone.

Jackson and her wife made me feel like home, they are very kind, friendly and they were always willing to help us. Good breakfast everyday, they rent bikes for good price and also can offer tours. Walking distance to center was 10 min. I enjoyed my staying with them.

Perfect location right on the beach but away from the noisy beach restaurants. Loved being close enough to walk to Perla de Concha and the beach by the dock where the penguins hang out. The service was impeccable and staff were available to help organize tours on last minute notice. They allowed an early check in and late check out to accommodate the ferry times. The breakfast was delicious every morning.

The staff Carlos was very kind and attentive to us. The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was good too! I sometimes didn't want to go out because the room was so comfortable with a nice AC! Comparing to what we paid in other islands, this place was definitely worth every penny.

Get the sea view room!! We love that they made up our room everyday… we appreciate it!! For breakfast, there’s a live egg cooking station … and you can order any type of eggs …fried, hard boiled, omelette etc .. And as most of tour started very early, they offered earlier breakfast around 645am to accommodate us.. Also, as our ferry was very early.. they have pre-arranged a breakfast box for us with us asking … and the pick up to ferry arrived before the time stated..

Hostal Los Flamencos se nachází v destinaci Puerto Villamil v regionu Isla Isabela. Jen 200 metrů odtud je Pláž Playa Puerto Villamil. For a fraction of the price of a fancy hotel, La Flamecos provides the most (if not more) than most of the other hotels on Isabsla. First, amazing location almost surroundded by a picteresque lagoon beloved by flamingoes. My room overlooked the lagoon and I woke up every morning to the magic sight and sound of flamingoes beginning their day and "quarelling" over their territory or the food, or some other flamingo business. The hostal is 1 block away from a beautiful beach (you could hear the waves from the room, but could see them only from balcony outside), restaurants, and tour agencies. It is 5 minutes car ride to the ferry and Concha de Perla, and 10 min walk to the tortoise breeding center. Further down there is a Wall of Tears hike too. Second, on an island with no pavement I had a reliable endless HOT shower in the room! Asking around, even people who shelled out top dollar for beachfront hotels had lukewarm shower. Third, clean bed and room with refrigerator, a/c, balcony to hang the swimsuits, and a proper mosquito net. I tended to use little a/c, but kept my windows open and did not get bitten once. If there were minor annoyances (tiny sink, little ants, dirty spot on the wall, etc.), I just dealt with it, because I could not possibly expect more than I got for the price I paid. And finally - amazing, warm, welcoming staff. Melina and Olga were always there if I needed ANYTHING. Extra blanket, beach towel, advice on tours, taxis, anything I wanted and at any time of the day. By the end of my stay it really felt like being part of their family. Thank you for a wonderful stay and magic memories of Isabela!

Made the last few days of our stay special. Would love to come back some day.

The house is spacious, modern and very comfortable. It has AC in each of the bedrooms and one in the shared/living room. There are three toilets in total, a beachbag, towels - everything taken care of. Elena, the host, is also super helpful and gives a lot of recommendations on tours and restaurants. We really enjoyed our time and recommend to stay at Flip Flop House when on Isabela island.
