What can we say - we booked at the last minute while on a cruise and jumped ship at Le Havre, caught a train to have one night in Paris and we're so glad we did. One thing we didn't think of was the ability to communicate as our high school french was woeful but the lovely girl at reception went above and beyond and made sure we understood everything and used a translation device. She made recommendations for good wholesome french food places and hit the nail on the head - the service and food at both places were amazing! The apartment was way more than we expected. We were on the top floor and had an angled window which could be slid open and then we saw it in the distance - The Eiffel Tower - can I say OMG! The facilities in the apartment were so good too with a kitchen ( with induction cooktop ) and coffee pod machine, dishwasher and all the equipment you could need to make a meal or three if you're lucky enough to be staying longer than us. In the bedroom was the biggest bath tub we have ever seen and plenty of hot water as well. Top it off with pink toilet paper and we thought we'd landed in a fantasy land.
