The hosts welcomed us as old friends and told us everything we'd need to know without rushing and giving time to answer questions. They even told us of a local food festival we were able to attend that was one of the highlights of our stay. They were available the whole time to answer any questions or issues we may have had. Communication was great. If you are on the fence about staying here, do it. You won't regret it.

Situated right in the heart of the old city, right beside the city walls and within the peaceful confines of the old monastery. The views from the gardens are breathtaking, both of the old city and the sea beyond. We especially loved the lovely gardens, with vegetables and vines, and also a good number of tortoise! They were beautifully tended and added to the charm. The rooms are simple but well designed and really comfortable. It’s a great modern bathroom with a powerful shower. We were able to check in early which was really helpful and the process was straightforward. All in all it was a wonderful sanctuary, offering a real feeling of calmness and serenity amongst the busy streets of Dubrovnik.
