The room was spacious, clean and had air con and a fan. The family were lovely and the workers were so friendly and helpful. We had amazing meals at the lodge (our favourite the tempeh rengdeng). We also did a jungle trek organised by the lodge. We had the most incredible day with our tour guide Oman and his helper Onkey (sorry if wrong spelling). Oman was so great with 20 plus years of experience in the jungle he was so knowledgeable and we saw so much beautiful jungle and wildlife. He also deeply cared about the environment and was a great advocate for animal wellbeing and safety. We were fortunate enough to see lots of monkeys and observe the orangutan’s up close. Definitely recommend 10/10

Dila was an exceptional host. I think this is the first time I know I'm definitely visiting a destination again just because of the accommodation experience I've had.

I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

I had a really nice stay and trekking (2D1N) with Jhony and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a jungle trek in Bukit Lawang. He arranged and took care of everything (pick-up to drop-off, even brought me to ATM and simcard shop with his scooter, all meals included on trekking). He has a very competitive price - the guesthouse is modest, but has everything you need and what you pay for (it is a jungle experience after all so no extra luxury). What is most important is his genuine love for the jungle and the authenticity of his job as a guide. He has many years of experience and built up his own guesthouse - nothing beats supporting true locals!

The room was really nice, the location perfect and the owners were really kind and helpful. I did the jungle trekking with them and Dandy, my guide, made it an amazing experience, he was so kind and funny and really compromised to make the best time out of it. We also enjoyed really fun nights playing guitar and singing with the guides and local people. If I ever come back, for sure I will book this place again. Thank you so much!

Mario Lakeside Apartments se nachází v destinaci Tuk Tuk a poskytuje kola zdarma, zahradu, terasu, vybavení pro grilování a výhled na hory. majitel je fantastický, ubytování sice má nějaké rezervy, ale on to svou osobou dohání - je milý, zařídí transfer, pomůže se vším, co jako host potřebujete... v ubytování je dostatek soukromí, protože jsou k dispozici jen 2 apartmány přímý přístup k jezeru - trajekt vás vyloží a naloží přímo na molu

Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa se nachází v destinaci Bukit Lawang a nabízí zahradu. Tento penzion má terasu a výhled na hory. Na jídlo lze zajít do restaurace a na skleničku do baru. Bylo to nejlepší ubytování, jaké jsme měli na naší cestě po Malajsii a Indonésii. Tyson a jeho rodina byli skvělí. Tysonova teta nám vařila úžasná domácí jídla. A naši průvodci v džungli Bob a Usain byli výborní. Děkujeme Tysone za skvělý pobyt. Ondra a Boogeyman Stephany.

SeaGate Bungalows se nachází v destinaci Sabang a nabízí zahradu, soukromou pláž, terasu a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Na místě budete mít k dispozici termální koupel a pronájem auta. Borja and Yuyun are excellent hosts that offers you the warmest welcome that you can imagine. They are very kind and help you with any and every question you might have about the place and the island. Every single item in the rooms were well thought. Room was very clean. Having a mini fridge, boiler in the room was great to have. Location is fantastic as it's a bit remote in the island which offers you a calm place to relax. Having the ocean right beneath you is remarkable. Food in the restaurant which is running as a side business, "La Boca Chica", was a great surprise for us as it really exceeded our expectations for taste and variety. We were not comfortable to ride scooter and Borja was kind enough to give us a practice session which shows how far they are willing to go for helping their guests!
