The owner is so nice and speaks good English. The view is beautiful and you're very close to the river. It's in the middle of the mountains so insane views, beautiful treks up the mountains and more. I was lucky to participate in a small party of the village and everyone was so nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!
We were staying at Villa Fontaine the night before our flight back to the UK. It was a very nice change from some of the airport hotels I have stayed at before! Room itself was great for one night & the check-in/out process was really easy. There are a couple of restaurants/bars on site but there are many more plus lots of shops in Haneda Garden which is en route to the hotel. And it's a really short work to Terminal 3. All in all, would definitely stay here again if flying from Haneda.
I stayed at Villa Fontaine several times when I need transfers between long international flights. The hotel has unique convenient location within Haneda T3 that I can easily handle two 23kg luggage. Haneda airport garden is a great place for half day shopping/food, I normally go to the spa and enjoy the onsen to wash off the sores. Highly recommend!
A very spacious villa with stunning view of the beach. We have enjoyed sunset in the living room. Kitchen and bathroom are excellent. Located in a quiet neighborhood. We have had happy and relaxing time here.
The staff greeted us and made us feel so welcome. The villas were amazing and the private onset was so special. The dining experience is something we will always remember.
The Okuba Hotel Hawaii is a nice place to stay for short terms. I liked the localisation of the hotel (5-7 minutes from Shin-Okubo station)
Great location to visit short term, a bit out of the way from major train stop though. The bento style breakfast wasn't bad, but not sure I'd pay for it again.
The breakfast was amazing. Very beautifully put together and presented. Amazing food. There is a bus stop right outside the main driveway so it’s very convenient if you are using the Hakone freepass. The service was excellent. They drove me and my luggage to the villa when I checked in and drove me from the villa to the bus stop when I checked out. The villa itself was beautiful and very relaxing. The en-suite onsen was also great.
I booked a log house bungalow which is a entirely fresh experience from the usual hotel room. My wife and I felt like vacationing in our own holiday home with the cozy and home feeling. Everyone with own car should try it.
