The guesthouse is located adjacent to seaport so you can feel and smell the sea breeze, also it is only walking distance to open markets that sells everything you need. The guesthouse is very hommy and the owner is very friendly and can speaks few languages fluently (Chinese, English, Indonesian...). I recommend to choose family room with sea view if you travel with 4-5 people. Big room, seaport view with seagulls chirping sound every morning. There is also recommended seafood restaurant at around 200 m back of the hotel, but you need to come before closing time at 8.15 pm. Will definitely stay in this guesthouse if we go back to Sokcho.

Thankfully, we stayed 3 nights and were able to hike and explore Seoraksan National Park as we wished. Our host was amazing and helped us (on a map he provided) with food/restaurant suggestions, showed us the different hiking routes at the Park and other noteworthy sites in the vicinity. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to S. Korea and I can't recommend it enough!

The owners are a family and very accommodating. the location was fantastic. The toiletries were brand name, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, hand soap, face products and others. The kitchen was fully stocked. Anything extra that we needed, the owners supplied. The property offered lots of beach equipment to rent for a cheap price. They also had various grills, which the owners set up and cleaned up. Great for families, couples, solo and group travelers.
