This is an amazing place to stay in Sigirya, very close to the “center”, but far away enough to feel like you’re in a retreat. The host family however is the best about it. They are very friendly, and helpful. They will make sure you have the best experiences, not just inside, but to arrange activities. Everything was clean and the breakfast is really amazing

Saman ensured everything went smoothly, from providing easy access to the ticketing office to assisting with every detail along the way. The accommodation was perfect, with a delicious breakfast and an ideal location just a short walk from the entrance to Sigiriya Rock. This experience was truly everything we hoped for and more—highly recommended!"

I loved sleeping in a forest-like environment. I really missed it, and this treehouse was a lovely stay in that regard. The noise/sounds/music from the forest at night is the best. We really enjoyed everything: the treehouse, the view on the rock, the Loris tour at night, the breakfasts/lunches/dinners, and the simple but clean facilities, the safari... Make sure to discuss with the host about the different activities you can do around the rock (time, price, etc.). The host will help you out the best that he can, including dropping you at 5am at the bottom of the rock if necessary! Very kind family, business encouraged, I would come back there 100%.

Villa Hanguk is an ideal spot if you plan to explore the Dambulla area. The owner is incredibly helpful, offering assistance with scooter or tuk-tuk rentals and organizing local trips. The villa is nestled just 400 meters from the main city street, surrounded by lush paddy fields. The beautifully maintained garden is filled with vibrant plants and flowers, offering plenty of cozy spots to relax—whether in a hammock, at a dining area, or playing table games. Being in the middle of nature, you can expect the delightful sounds of wildlife, including peacocks. It truly adds to the charm of the place. One of the highlights of our stay was the Sri Lankan food. The meals were not only delicious but also generously portioned. I highly recommend skipping outside restaurants and instead asking the staff to prepare dinner for you—you won’t be disappointed!

Pearl's Homestay Matale nabízí zahradu, terasu a pokojovou službu. Nákupní centrum Kandy City Center je 27 km odtud. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Breakfast is very tasty and delicious. The owner is polite and friendly. Highly recommended 👌

Sigiriya Paradise Treehouse poskytuje zahradu, terasu a bankomat. Sigiriya skála je 2,3 km odtud. Location is amazing in the Jungle Family owned Heartly welcomed by the Family Owner took care, organised Safari and made a private Tuk Tuk Tour with us for a reasonable price. Also his wife cooked traditional dinner for us (Not included in price, but thats completely ok) During night and day we saw and heard a lot of different animals. I would recommend the Tree House any time, especially for backpacker if you want to see the sri lankan Daily life.
