Amazing Desert Experience – Peaceful, Clean, and Unforgettable! I stayed at the desert camp for one night on my own, and it was truly one of the best travel experiences I’ve had. The camp itself was beautifully set up – very clean, peaceful, and with a truly magical atmosphere under the stars. What made the experience even more special was the amazing driver and guide, Ali. He was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire stay. His passion for the desert and local culture really came through, and he made sure everything was perfect. Even though I was traveling alone, I never felt lonely – just completely relaxed and in awe of the stunning surroundings. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and memorable desert experience! And the food was really nice too.

We had such a great time at Thousand Stars Desert Camp. The place is absolutely beautiful — right in the middle of the dunes, super peaceful and perfect for watching the sunset and the stars at night. Our tent was cozy and comfortable, and everything was really well taken care of. But what made the experience truly special was Ali — he’s such a kind and genuine host! He made us feel completely at home. If you want a real desert experience with great vibes and an awesome host, this is the place to go. We’ll definitely come back one day!

It's only us who been in camp, so we felt special. We ordered shuttle service (it's expensive given the fact that distance is small), dune bashing - it was really cool!, camel sunset ride (I agree with all reviewers that price is high for such activity) but we really loved it! Dinner was exceptional! bad is comfy and nice! Salim was our driver and we enjoyed his company (his english can be better though)

We booked the pick up /drop off for 5rial each way( per car) from Badiya where we parked the car overnight. The drive was fun 2. Love the traditional tent on the stilts. Our tent is big and shower/ toilet work perfect ( amazed with good water pressure!) the balcony is really nice to relax. Bed and blankets are very comfortable. 3. Sand dunes all around easy to walk for sunset and sunrise 4. Food is delicious both dinner and free breakfast. Water/tea/coffee are free 5. Staff is friendly and owner Salim even gave me a small gift before we left. 6. You can pay either cash or credit card

I spent alot of time researching the desert camp options and chose Rashid's because it ticked all the boxes for us...small camp - only 4 tents for a more intimate experience, reasonable prices for everything, elevated tents so not on the ground with creepy crawlers, private bath inside, comfy beds, good food, good reviews of the owner host for a welcoming and enlightening experience. The stay exceeded all of my, already high, expectations. also, some camps are just barely in the desert and some are many miles in, this was a lovely distance in. Rashid made us feel like honored guests and family. He wants his guests to feel at home and was open to all questions about his homeland and culture. He taught us so much and also loved to hear and learn about our homeland and lives. The food was incredible as well. We went dune bashing to collect some of the plastic I was so sad to see in the desert by my request. He took us to see camels and there were new babies. Whoever you choose to stay with please honor the desert and collect your garbage. But don't miss the opportunity to stay with rashid! We arrived as strangers and left as honored friends!

We really enjoyed our experience staying in the desert. We had beautiful sunset and sunrise. We booked the dinner and breakfast which was delicious. Badr was great, he picked us up from the carpark and dropped us off to our car the next day. On the way he showed us the camels and a Bedouin camp nearby. Him and the other staff also spend time with everyone around the bonfire telling us stories about life in the desert and singing songs. The tents and bathrooms are basic but the bed is comfortable and it feels like an authentic experience. We would visit again and would like to express our gratitude to Badr for making this a great experience for us.

Salem is not just a great host — he is a genuinely kind, generous, and thoughtful person who goes out of his way to make every guest feel comfortable and appreciated. What made my stay even more special was the way he surprised me for my birthday. He arranged a small celebration in his beautiful traditional tent, surrounded by other guests, creating such a heartfelt and touching moment that I will never forget. The staff at the guest house were also exceptional, always smiling, helpful, and attentive to every need. The environment is peaceful, beautifully set. One of the highlights of my stay was the boat trip organized by Salem, where we had the chance to see dolphins in their natural habitat. It was magical and truly a once-in-a-lifetime moment. If you’re considering booking a stay at Salem’s, don’t hesitate for a second. Whether you’re looking for adventure, connection, or peaceful beauty, you’ll find it all here.
