Accommodation was excellent, waking up to Kookaburra's made a change from what we where used to living in the Bush ourselves. Layout was excellent and ideal for a young family.

Location, location, location: We had looked for a combination of hotel and winery in walking distance to each other, and this one ticked all the boxes: you can easily walk over to Chateau Tanunda in about 15mins (and others are walkable too, if you don't mind walking 30-40mins). The hotel is part of a pub/restaurant - but the rooms are really surprising: completely new, with a rain shower, quite spacious and quiet (this being a Monday maybe, could be louder on a Friday evening). We also enjoyed the restaurant and a glass of wine on the front porch. There's ample parking in the back. Didn't see any breakfast options, but this was rare on our trip anyways - there's a bakery nearby to help you out.

Hosts are super friendly. The views from the hill is amazing and overlooking the whispering wall. The area at night was really dark, peaceful and quiet (great for people who likes to sleep in the dark). In the cold winter, there was a fireplace burning all night to keep us warm. The accommodation space was absolutely huge.

Everything was wonderful! From check-in to the privacy, views, ambience and facilities. Beautifully decorated and appointed with a wonderful ambience. Such a perfect stay.

Facilities and location couldn't have been better. Very welcoming. Very quiet neighborhood. Good bed. Great water pressure. Plenty of space. Kitchenette nicely set up with tea/coffee. Didn't have time to enjoy the pool - but it looked lovely.
