We knew ‘The Latch’ several years ago for it’s amazing dinners. We just had the opportunity to stay there again as it is now a B&B. The current owners (they bought in 2020) have transformed this place into a jewel, keeping all the original charm. Breakfast is included and was an amazing 5* experience! Lovely location overlooking a marina. We’ll be back! 😊👍

This was an excellent place to stay! The host was very friendly and provided great local tips and information. The suite was clean, cozy, and located in a beautiful and quiet area, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. It also had easy access to major attractions on Vancouver Island, which made getting around simple and stress-free. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely book again

Host accommodated us on very short notice which was greatly appreciated. Modern decor with great kitchen - open floor plan. Everything is brand new and decorated very tastefully.     The hotel was a short drive from Victoria Airport and a short drive from Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal, so it was an ideal location for us. The breakfast was continental, but still really good. We also enjoyed a lovely stroll along by the sea before we left.

    Good selection for breakfast. The king suit was fabous. The double rooms good. Very tidy and thought put into the fine details of the rooms. We only stayed a few hours over night having arrived late. The place is clean and quiet. Very close to the seashore, an ideal location.

    Handy location in downtown Sidney, so about 10 minutes from the airport. Free parking, close walk to the oceanfront and grocery store. Very very clean, lots of pillows, nice bedding, comfortable beds. Decent spread for simple breakfast on the go. Very friendly and helpful staff, and excellent value for money spent (a room at the hotel across the street would have been double the cost of our room).
