Small but perfect for a couple or solo traveler. I really appreciated the host’s love for the apartment; they view us as guests rather than just an ATM—all evident in its decor, welcome gift, the stunning view and everything that makes a place a home. Great spot that’s directly in front of the bus stop. Super easy bus system (comes every hour).

Very well situated next to the lake, with a number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Excellent transportation links as it is situated opposite the lake ferries and within one minute walk of the bus stops to/from Lugano. We were fortunate to book the front room with balcony/terrace which is probably the best room in Morcote. Would definitely stay there again.

So many great things about this hotel! The location is spectacular!!! The owner and staff are very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant serves delicious food, especially the pizza. Breakfast had lots of options. The room was clean and comfortable. The room view looked towards the famous church on the hill and terra cotta roof tops. There didn't seem to be hot water for showering the evening I was there. Not sure why that was, as I didn't ask. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking. Overall, fantastic value for the money. I very highly recommend this hotel. I hope to visit Morcote again. When I do, I will stay here again.

great and variety kind of food in the breakfast , clean room, the non-alcohol drinks in the room are complement, next to the funicular (1.3 CHF/way free when I use Swiss pass or Ticino pass )from the train station, friendly staff give me a bottle of water when check out .
