LOVED EVERYTHING!!! The room was large and kind of rustic in a camp sort of way but charming and had great chairs to sit and watch the jungle. Andrew the chef is clearly Michelin - bound made excellent meals and the massage was heavenly and in a superb setting! Hot mineral spring pools were also GREAT!

This place was amazing! We loved it! The views, hammock and jacuzzi on the deck was perfect! There was enough hot water to fill the jacuzzi which was perfect after hiking waterfalls all day! The room is spacious and cozy with fans to keep it cool. There is a TV with Netflix. There is a coffee machine with ground coffee in the room and there is even a small fire pit at the front entrance to make food! The breakfast brought to the room was lovely. The hosts are friendly and helpful! Highly recommend this gem!

The home was beautiful, exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, every space was spotless, the host was responsive, the outdoor spaces were amazing, the A/C in the bedrooms worked great, and the price was right. I wish we would have stayed more than one night. There are so many places to hike within 30 minutes of the home. If we are in the area again, I would definitely stay here again.

So nice to have hiking trails to waterfalls right out our door! And fresh food just steps away despite being very remote. Staff was very friendly.

The accommodation was quaint and extremely comfortable. The shower had a little heater attached so even though we were a little more remote we were able to enjoy a comfortable shower. We could hear the sounds of the rainforest at night, which I particularly enjoyed. The family who run this place were some of the kindest people and even though we don't speak Spanish, and they didn't speak English, we were able to communicate and actually enjoyed a long conversation. There were a few dogs on the premisis that were super friendly and definitely enjoyed the ample attention we paid them. The value for this place was incredible and it was my favorite accommodation my partner and I stayed in. We wish we would have stayed for more than one night.

    Beautiful location really within a forest and close to the Toro river. The lodges are essential and this may be fine but perhaps they could be maintained better. Simple tools could be very useful to organize things in the room eviting chaos. The breakfast is essential. The restaurant is not very good. Personnel is kind but they are not well prepared they are slow very slow. The restaurant is an option for a dinner if you are tired and you like avoiding the use of the car once more in the hard road in the night. This at least our experience.

    A very special place. I love it and hope I will return one day. Everyone was exceptional and the location is pure heaven. The pools are awesome as well and of you wake up early you get the chance to have them all for yourself. The morning alarm are the howler monkeys.
