Honestly it was a complete apartment with everything!. It had a kitchen with oil and salt which is essential for cooking your own meals. It had a laundry room which I didn't use but it was nice to have that option. The normal size fridge and the AC was a blessing with all the heat in CR. The bathroom was excellent. There was even an office desk and a dinner table, it was perfect!. And besides all of that 4 beds and I could park the car next door. It was very comfortable to stay here, very much recommend! The area around was beautiful and so peaceful.

GREAT Location near the tropical forest preserves and the Sarapiqui River, right near the Best Chocolate Farm, where we also took a night hike, and just down the road from Aventuras del Sarapiqui (excellent whitewater rafting). It's a private house off the main road and I was worried about dogs barking as mentioned in some other reviews, but it was not a problem at all. It's a split level with two separate sleeping spaces, king bed in upstairs room and queen bed in the downstairs room, each having their own bathroom with showers. The main kitchen/dining area was great for preparing easy meals: rice and beans for dinners and fried egg sandwiches for breakfast. And best of all is our host, Maria who has been SO accommodating and friendly. We just message each other through WhatsApp (I use Google Translate to convert from her Spanish to my English). It's not a luxury hotel but instead a very artistically decorated two bedroom apartment and I highly recommend.

Perfect villa in the mountains. Very peaceful, modern design, comfortable beds, new bathroom and even some board games to pass the time with the kids. Host was very responsive and helpful with recommendations in the area. Great stay!

Beautiful home in a lovely landscape with bench by the river, and a covered picnic oavilion. Very responsive and kind host who was at property every day. Also loved wide comfortable deck with roof, to enjoy the view on rainy days.

The location was fabulous. Garden paths through the property a big extra. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed meeting the owner of the property. Would definitely stay here again.
