The hotel is, as the name says, a former Castle. It is situated right next to a wonderful park with art sculptures. It is completely barrier free. The staff was super friendly and waited up for us as we were arriving late due to a big traffic jam. Breakfast was nice. We have had the opportunity to take a very nice walk with great views over the "Hainich". A great destination when wanting to explore the region that has so much to offer. We went to see the Bach House the next day.

This apartment was perfect for our group of 6. It was easy to access. The little extras throughout the apartment were so thoughtful and appreciated. We loved having the 2nd toilet. It was a perfect location. We would definitely stay there again.
