the room was lovely, had tea and coffee facilities in the rooms, the bed was SO comfy, had a very lovely sleep. The surrounding area was gorgeous, being just across the road from the sea, and we could see some early morning swimmers in the sea. An overall wholesome experience.

The staff (Jeanette) greeted us like old friends.We spent a little over two weeks here house hunting...met new friends from all over the world... Returning in August to finalize our house hunt... The location was ideal for being able to experience all of Arran but also finding some peace and quiet. The little stream was loved by our dog and made sitting out on the decking all the more peaceful. Its a compact but very well thought out space. Hosts were super friendly & very helpful.

    Excellent location, friendly hosts and the cottage is really well equipped. Immaculately clean and comfortable. Close to the ferry terminal, ideal base for exploring the island. Peaceful and quiet, there were lots of birds in the garden, including a really cheeky chicken who peered in the door every morning to remind us to feed her. We enjoyed watching the red squirrel raiding the bird feeders.
