The rooms were, on the whole, absolutely stunning - even better than we were led to believe by the photos. It's a beautiful building, lovingly maintained and the interior decor was thematically appropriate and very tastefully done. The view from the main room windows is superb and being able to watch the ships sailing in and out of the Mersey was a pleasure. A compact kitchen leads through to a spacious bathroom, also very nicely fitted, decorated and maintained. The proximity to the beach was another draw for us and the very short walk down to the shore is another feather in the cap for this property.

The accommodation has everything needed for a short/long stay. You can cook yourself a nice meal if you like it or you can order in the hotel's restaurant. The bathrooms are spacious enough and the shower cabin is one of the biggest I've seen since staying in hotels. The room is very cozy and is being heated in a proper manner thus you won't feel the cold in the winter or from the sea breeze. Overall the accommodation made a good impression on us and made us stay at the same hotel but in another city when the time comes.
