The addition of a lit Christmas tree on arrival made me feel welcomed. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, the bed was very comfortable. Hosts were on hand over Christmas if needed. Ideally placed to explore the Sussex coast around Hastings and St. Leonards. There really is a nice lake view from the window and the off the beaten track location makes for a relaxing and quiet stay. Beautifully clean and very nicely finished and furnished throughout.
