Princes Street Suites 4 stars

Princes Street, Edinburgh

With an enviable location in Edinburgh’s Old Town, Princes Street Suites are a 10-minute walk from Holyrood Palace. The famous Royal Mile is half a mile away, and St James Shopping Centre is a 2-minute walk. Our suite was very comfortable, convenient to the Tattoo, train station, buses etc. We actually stayed in two segments, July31-Aug.2 & Aug.11-Aug.17. The first stay we had a cell phone provided for local calls, Internet ie google maps. This was a huge bonus as our personal cell overseas pkg. was very costly.During the second stay the cell phone perk wasn't available(Princes Street Suites had discontinued with their service provider & hadn't obtained the services of another.Result was we had to use our own phone at considerable added expense. Our hosts & their staff were very gracious & attentive to any requests etc. Would highly recommend Princes Street Suites for visitors who intend to explore Edinburgh & surrounding area. So central, the location is exceptional.

Each bedroom has a flat-screen TV. Some rooms have a king-size bed, and some have a garden view. Staff were extremely nice and helpful. They allowed us to do the check-in before as the room was already ready. The house is beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay there again the next time we visit Edinburgh :).
