This hostel knows what it's doing. We got a WhatsApp message before arrival with everything we needed – house rules, local food spots, and even things to do around Banyuwangi. The staff was always available, and the room was clean and functional with a small desk and power sockets. We joined the Ijen tour and it was smooth, well-arranged, and affordable. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality by Johan and his family, making us feel right at home. The rooms are incredibly spacious, providing us with plenty of comfort and relaxation during our stay. We extended our stay. Each morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that set the perfect tone for the day. We are truly grateful for the wonderful stay and the genuine care we received. Absolute heaven !! Amazing property at the most reasonable price. Clean, brand new rooms, most comfortable bed, large balcony overlooking a bamboo forest with the sounds of a rushing stream below. And even better, I cannot say enough good things about the owner!! Made us dinner even though the kitchen was closed after arriving late in the night, arranged an amazing and well priced Ljen tour for us, lent me Indonesian dollars when I had none left AND even drove me to the airport in his personal car when I was so late I would have missed my flight! He makes you feel like you’re at home. Stay here you won’t regret it!!
