IrelandThe room had a brand-new feel to it. Everything was impeccably clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was everything one could need in the room including TV, hair blower, a kettle (with tea/coffee/sugar etc.) and a shared fridge just outside the door. The views were amazing and although the location is not central, it only takes 15-20 minutes to walk to the centre of Doolin. Own means of transport is however recommended to get around, especially on rainy days. The house is family-run by a great couple who went beyond their way to ensure our stay was most enjoyable.

IrelandThe place was very clean and comfortable. My room was cosy, plenty of space, very comfortable bed and a nice clean bathroom . The view was great, I could see the Cliffs and when lying in bed the window above was nice to look into the sky and even to hear the rain. The common room downstairs was also very comfortable. There was all sorts of different tea and coffee and also cornflakes which I didn't expect to be there. A nice table to have your breakfast and a chat with the other guests who stayed there. And 2 nice comfy chairs to relax and have a coffee after a nice walk. When I went downstairs on Sunday there were freshly baked scones on the counter what a nice surprise, they were yummy and put a smile on my face. There are also tables outside on the terrace to enjoy a nice lunch or just relax on a beautiful sunny day. I have to say I liked everything in Lane Lodge and Teresa the host is very welcoming and friendly and likes to have a chat and will answer all the questions you have about Doolin and the area. And I met the 2 little dogs who live there and they were super nice.
Also the location is perfect, close to the pier, you can walk to the Cliffs from here and pubs and restaurants are near by for a nice meal and drink if you fancy one.
I left very happy and relaxed, and will come back for sure.
