Simple but stylish, and very clean. Great location in Salthill, near pub and restaurants and the prom. Comfortable beds. Fridge in room. Eco showers that need a button push every 30 seconds or so, which I don't mind in the interest of conservation. There is an elevator. Nice cafe downstairs. And the exceptionally well equipped kitchen is open to guests! A real bonus to those travelling on a budget or with special dietary requirements. Staff were kind and helpful when we enquired about late parking.

Probably the the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in, very clean, very comfortable, very affordable, everyone was so nice, you really feel safe there too, the location was perfect also, I was within walking distance to everywhere I needed to get, they have a really lovely kitchen and seating era to chill out before sleeping, next time I'm in Galway I'll definitely stay there again, thanks so much for everything 🙂

Although our stay was short, Silver Sea is an ideal location for anyone who wants to be close to city centre but looking for a reasonable price. Alongside a lovely welcome upon arrival and a quick tour of rooms, facilities etc., the check-in check-out process was simple and the entire house was spotless. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and looked forward to booking here again!

Loved the location and that there was free parking outside. Only less than €10 for a taxi into the bars and restaurants so very ideal location for a night out. Beds were extremely comfortable and room was very clean and tidy. Bathroom was spotless and I loved that there was a heated towel rack which I never had in a hotel room before! Not sure how this hotel is only 3 star also! Would definitely say it’s a 4 if not a 5! Will definitely be returning.
