Great little hotel, warning - we didn't expect it behind a large steel door amongst a ruined building. But once you step inside the gate you are transported to a beautiful secluded garden and a very well kept hotel. We loved everything about this place. The room was comfortable and unique, breakfast was great, we enjoyed the jacuzzi in the afternoons and the pool even at the end of February, and just sitting in the garden in general. Very close to the historical town center, only about 10-15 mins walk. Also, I would recommend that you try the restaurant on the square just to the right of the hotel walls. We only discovered it on our last night there, but what a gem! Thank you for a great, relaxing stay.

We loved the location of the property, it was close to markets, restaurants, shopping and the marina area. Our host/hostess were wonderful with several recommendations for restaurants and shopping. Sylvia coordinated our transportation to and from the airport, as well. They also offered a fantastic breakfast.

The place was perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the room was big, bathroom and shower were excellent. Breakfast was abundant and had lots of alternatives to eat. We had a really good time. The location was also very good. 15 to 20 minutes walk to the historical center. And very good restaurants around the place.

Upon our request they prepared vegan breakfasts each day of our stay. The quality of the breakfast was great, both the vegan and non vegan. The staff was very kind and helpful. Our room was clean and with air conditioning. Location is great so all interesting parts of the city can be reached easily.

We have stayed in this hotel several times so now it feels like home. The staff welcomes us with so much joy and care. We know most of them by name and they are all wonderful ! We love to stay in this hotel, the facilities and the rooms are great, location is prime! Right in the center of Palermo so we walk everywhere. The restaurants are excellent as well. The hotel is an historical landmark and it shows. The lobby, the bar, the restaurants, they are all beautiful. All the different rooms we have stayed in have been beautiful, with very large bathrooms, closets, welcome sweets, etc. When in Palermo we don’t give it a second thought. We stay at des Palmes !

Riccardo was extremely helpful even before we arrived, providing clear and practical information on how to get to the apartment from Palermo Airport. The fare he recommended was reasonable, and his insights about Palermo and the neighborhood around the apartment were incredibly helpful. The property is newly opened (just this year in 2025), but it’s already run with the professionalism of a long-established hotel. Our bedroom and bathroom were spotless, beautifully furnished, and thoughtfully lit — it truly felt like a 5-star stay. The apartment is inside a 200-year-old building, but everything inside is modern, stylish, and comfortable. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, though with so many restaurants nearby, we barely used it! The location couldn’t be more strategic — it’s right on the main street, just a few steps from the iconic Quattro Canti, with shops, cafes, and major Palermo attractions all around you. At night, we appreciated the electric metal window shutters that completely blocked out street noise, allowing for a quiet and restful sleep despite being in the lively heart of the city. If you’re staying in the center of Palermo, I highly recommend B&B Quattro Canti Deluxe — it’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and warm Sicilian hospitality.

    Everything was perfect! Marisa and her husband are wonderful and attentive hosts. Upon arrival, they provided a transfer service and took us to enjoy delicious Sicilian food. The accommodation was spacious, with a comfortable bed, a well-equipped kitchen, very clean, a laundry sink, and a large balcony. The location is ideal, close to markets, great restaurants, and the beautiful and peaceful Mondello beach, which is much better than Cefalù and Palermo.
