First of all, that's not a soulless hotel for privacy, that's a cozy house that's being serviced by a very heartful landlady. A place where you can dive into an atmosphere of family with deep conversations during the meal or tea. About the house: there's a safe place to park a bike. A terrace and a rooftop (!) to enjoy the sunsets or city views or to sit alone and read a book. By the way, there's a decent library of English books in the house! About the room: it was the biggest bed I've ever seen. Not a king-size, a sheikh-size 😅 AC and everything was great. Breakfast was included, and you may ask for a dinner as well, and for the reasonable price landlady will cook it for you. National cuisine, very tasty! Special thanks and hi to Shihath, we had a great time together :)

Loved the room, it was the perfect size and the bed was comfortable. We were only in Colombo for a couple of days and we wanted somewhere that wasn't too far away from the train station as we had to catch a 6 am train. The breakfast was AMAZING. The staff was equally great. Really appreciated the help and kindness of the manager as well as Augustus Bernard, the person who welcomed us when we arrived very late at night.
