Very nice and clean room, air condition works very well. With a swimming pool and restaurant. The most important thing is that my Yala Safari was perfect (Leopards and elephants family were very close to me)

One of the hidden gems of Sri Lanka! This beautiful hotel is set around a serene lake, with stunning views from the room overlooking water lilies, palm trees, and grazing buffalo. The rooms are stylishly decorated, spacious, and impeccably clean. The breakfast is fantastic, with something for everyone. EVERYTHING! Can't stop saying nice things about this property and the owner. The cleanest rooms, welcoming owner, the dinner they serve is also amazing and richer than the restaurants offer. He also has bikes you can borrow to stroll around the lakes, he offers you tea and coffee during the day, he lends you binoculars...one evening they spotted this cute owl near the property and he called us if we wanted to come see it...just soooo attentive, I wish we could stay there longer! Oh and the driver he recommended for the Yala safari was also great.

The hosts were very friendly and they even helped us book seats on the bus back to Kandy. The host prepared dinner which was very delicious and at an affordable price. The rooms were clean and overall it was a good experience.

The place was stunning, comfortable and lovely. We had the best BBQ of our lifes❤️ Silva (manager and guide) was a hidden gem of this place. He made us feel great and assured an amazing stay! King Reach also organized a great Safari where we could see a Leopard! Important: it is very rare to see a Leopard or Elefant (we didn’t see any) in yala at this time of the year. So remember it’s possible you come back just with some crocodile and monkey pics. Still it’s not the fault of the hotel or the Safari guide/driver the animals have enough food and water to stay in the bushes ! Thank you for this great experience!

wonderful place nice climate and we love the nature in hotel and It has beautiful lake view and full of nature. The staff is so friendly and gave us a wonderful service. hotel has a very enthusiastic and boutique atmosphere with the Restaurant area, Thanks and we ll see u soon in our next trip to Yala also forgot to mentioned that we really enjoyed the SAFARY arranged by Hotel.

Randy and his family were amazing host, the friendliest you can ever find in Sri Lanka, always willing to help and give attention. Food (both breakfast and dinner) were really tasty. Randy took us on his motorbike to visit the amazing landscape and lake around. We felt good from the very beginning and felt sad to leave such great people and souls.

    All the staff were amazing - nothing was too much trouble. The pool was really lovely and the breakfast was fabulous. The river side location is quiet and beautiful with a swing down by the water. The safari to Yala we booked with the hotel was well-organised and again, our driver went to a great deal of trouble to ensure we had an excellent experience. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    Great location on a big block of land next to a lake that had water buffalo in the afternoon. Nice pool to cool off in, the room was tidy with a/c and fan that worked well. The staff could not do enough for you and the highlight was the prepared meals, delicious food and large serves at a very cheap price. We also did a Yala safari from there which was organised by the manager Dilipa where we saw heaps of wildlife including a leopard and bear. We loved our stay and highly recommended it.

    It was a great location In front of Thissa Lake. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We just spent only one night. It was really comfortable. Budget air conditioned lager rooms available. It was very clean and well maintained. I will definitely choose this place again. In the morning the sun was amazing with a lake view. They have a restaurant and a well balanced menu including kids items also. Highly recommend this place
