This apartment in a 3-floor building is located as close to the Blue Gate of the Medina as you can imagine. It's very convenient for visiting the Fes Medina (just a 2-minute walk) while staying outside the hustle and bustle of the old city's narrow streets. We paid 50 MAD for a petit taxi ride from the train station to the apartment, which was quick (10 min) and affordable. Upper Apartment (3rd Floor): • Rooms: 2 rooms, each with 2 separate beds. • Amenities: o Air conditioning units in each room. o Washing machine. o Gas stove (no microwave). o Small kitchen area with a table. o Separate toilet and shower. • Additional Notes: o Plumbing is slightly outdated but works fine. o A TV is available in one of the rooms. o WiFi works well. o Hot water is available with good pressure. .... Lower Apartment (2nd Floor): • Rooms: 3 bedrooms: - 2 bedrooms, each with 2 beds each and air conditioning units. - 1 bedroom with a queen-size bed (located in an inner area with no windows, which may feel hot during summer) without air conditioning unit. o Family room with a TV. o WiFi works well. o Hot water is available with good pressure. • Amenities: o Kitchen with a refrigerator and gas stove (no microwave). o Shared toilet and shower. o Plumbing is in better condition than the upper apartment. • Additional Notes: o We visited in December when the temperature was around 40°F-50°F and didn’t experience any heating issues.

Very good location, near the blue gates. This Riad had everything we needed for our stay. The owner was very nice and he helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was very good as well.

Hosts are very helpful and accommodating, they welcomed us with fresh mint tea and Moroccan pastries ,provided good tips on what to see and where to go. The riad is very nicely decorated in Moroccan traditional style, clean and well maintained. Breakfast was really good with various Moroccan breads / pastries and additions: honey, marmalade, butter, olives ,eggs , fruits - and served earlier upon request. Definitely recommend !

We are so glad that we chose Green House. We spent a great time here on New Year’s Eve! In addition to the room being clean and comfortable, everyone was so friendly and helpful. In the end it’s not difficult to find the place. Just follow the sign on the main street. Thanks a lot for everyone’s help! I highly recommend this place to stay in Fez.

    Great location just at the border of the Medina, quiet, clean, very cozy and with such an amazing and kind host! Mohammed was just fantastic, providing many nice local recommendations and making sure we enjoy our stay to the max. We especially enjoyed the breakfast on the rooftop terrace! Overall, a fabulous stay, can only recommend and would definitely stay again!

    The building was build in 14th century and you can see everywhere arts, on the walls and on the ground. Also the hotel is very clean and tidy. The staff help us with everything that we needed in our stay in Fes. I recommend you to eat at the rooftop to see the view and taste the great food that in my opinion is one of the best foods in morocco.

    Nice and very comfortable Riad, Mohammed is a great host and very accommodating. The location is great, it was possible to drop the car in a nearby parking and walk right in, without having to haul the bags through the Medina, although the Riad is along one street dissecting it

    Very nice hotel with 5 star service. Daily cleaning of the room, free mint tea, roof terras with a view!. Mahmoud picked us up at the Rcif gate when we arrived. We had an early flight so we had to leave the hotel around 5 o clock in the morning. They prepared a full breakfast before we left! And we were escorted to the taxi they arranged. I can recommend this hotel because of the hospitality of Abdul and his brothers, good location in the medina, it's very clean and the rooms are very nice.
