This is a great properly. Staff are very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast is outstanding - not your average breakfast buffet at all - lots of unique and healthy options. The small pool on the roof offers a great retreat from the hullabaloo of Kathmandu. It’s worth noting that they do not have an indoor pool as the description suggests. It’s quite new so everything works and is very clean - a bonus in Nepal. It’s surprisingly quiet in this great location on the back side of Thamel. We will definitely be back and recommend to others.

It’s a very good hostel with good location and good staffs. This hostel is right in the Thamel neighborhood, easy to get to the attractions and very easy to locate in indrive. The staff was also very nice and responsive and they put together a great day trip for me. The rooms and restrooms were clean and the food in the restaurant was very good. Wish I could have stayed here for more days:)

The manager mr Ganga was superb in every way. He made our stay comfortable. His staff was well trained n treated guest with warm n politeness. The roof top restaurant was absolutely a highlight of this lovely boutique hotel, just loved the sunset so much that I’ve almost spent every evening there. Stayed at the kailash boutique hotel for 5 nights , property was spotless and in an excellent location , room was very clean , bed was super comfortable. Staff were first class , extremely helpful and very friendly. The manager Dol couldn't have been more accommodating, I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Very nice New hotel, very clean, shower is great with a lot of pressure, comfortable beds, ideal location in Thamel area, quiet street, super nice staff doing all their best to serve you, very good breakfast buffet, amazing ratio price/quality! We also booked our trekking tour with Dol (the hotel manager) through Third Rock Adventures and I highly recommend them. They have a 99% satisfaction rate on Trip Advisor with 629 reviews to this date.

This hotel is fantastic value for money. The service is excellent, particularly from Dev the manager who went above and beyond to look after us and make us feel at home. The rooms are very clean, the included breakfast is delicious and the location is great - close enough to walk to the thick of it, but far enough away for it to be quiet. If you’re looking for somewhere affordable and simple, but very comfortable, stay at Chhimeki!
