We did not realize we had booked a shared bathroom; however, it worked out well. It was clean and well attended to. It was only shared with one other guest room. Shared kitchen served us well and we had very nice time talking with other guests. The timing of the different guest meal prep worked out naturally well; however, if multiple guests were trying to cook at same time, that would be challenging. LOVELY pool at garden courtyard. Gorgeous setting. Bedroom was basic. Could use some shelf or cabinet space; however, it perfectly met our needs. A lot of outside area to enjoy and there as also an inside living room for relaxing.

I really enjoyed my stay! The home was clean, spacious, and very comfortable exactly as described. The location was perfect, with shops and restaurants all within walking distance. The street and neighborhood was quiet and very safe. The city center ponta delgada is just a 15 minute drive. There was a free parking lot very close to the home, and the individual room had its own AC, which kept it very comfortable. I appreciated the free WiFi which worked great. The host was friendly, responsive, and made sure everything was just right throughout my stay. He even had some local pastry’s for us to try. I’d definitely recommend this place and would love to stay again in the future.

Great location. A more local, low key area with easy walking to eat, drink, shop and the aquatic center. It was quite large, clean and comfortable with the floor fans, as we visited in August. The covered clothesline was beneficial due to rain now and then. The owner was super responsive when we had questions.

Definitely 10 out of 10 score for the property. Super clean with amazing owner. On arrival he explained well about best places to visit on the island, gave guide and island map and suggested which best places to visit. You need to have a car to get around as it will be the most convenient. Free parking next to the building. Super satisfied with the stay.

    Very clean - everything seemed brand new. Very spacious. Easy to park by the property. Large balconies. Lev, the owner, gave good tips and happy to assist. Good location by the sea, with cafes/ restaurants nearby. The central location on the island makes it very easy to visit the attractions, although you do need a car.

    The host was extremely kind and helpful. The house was very clean, well maintained and had everything that we needed, including a washing machine. Pretty good location, as the highway was close and whole island was reachable within 30-40 minutes. There is a grocery store right across the street. Definitely recommend it for families with small children. There is a free street parking on the street - hard to find a spot right in front of the house, but we always found one within 100-200 meters.

    Everything about the place was great: location right by the beach and very close to the Lagoa pools; very clean, spacious, beautifully set up apartment (we stayed in penthouse B); the place has everything you need and the hosts are very welcoming. I highly recommend Faraway apartments! Will definitely stay here again.

    This was a fabulous stay for our time on Sao Miguel. Location was great to tour various parts of the island and it was immaculate. Our host Jose' was so accommodating and had great suggestions for restaurants, hikes and things to do in the area. It was a pleasant surprise to find a coffee pot in addition to an espresso machine so we could have a regular cup of coffee in the mornings as well. The unit was spotless and having the hot tub overlooking the ocean was a perfect way to end our days. 10/10 recommend!

    We stayed in the apartment for a week and were very satisfied. The apartment was very clean, has a lot of storage space, a comfortable bed and a beautiful terrace upstairs with a view of the city. In addition, it was well equipped. The location also suited us very well. In the city there is a great restaurant, a cafe is just downstairs from the apartment. In Lagoa there is a great swimming pool also with places to swim in the ocean. In addition, there is also a fitness center in the city with a great view of the ocean.
