Wonderfully quiet location right above the lake but also quite close to town with its stores and restaurants . Easy access to hiking trails (along the beautiful lake side) as well as sauna dock (pricey, and not included in stay) and swimming dock allows for a very relaxing atmosphere. Having bathrobes provided was great, especially after taking a quick swim in the late afternoon/evening. The hotel also offered a very reasonably priced lunch buffet (with several choices of main dishes).

The breakfast Moran had made was amazing. There were locally produced dairy products as well as delicious coffee and meets and cheeses for toast. It was all very delicious and perfectly prepared in the dining hall.
