My recent stay at Moshi Hostel Lodge in Kibolironi, Kilimanjaro was nothing short of extraordinary. Originally, I had only booked a shorter stay, but within a day, I realized this place was something special. I loved it so much that I decided to extend my visit—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I arrived, the location and ambiance captivated me. Nestled in a peaceful yet convenient spot near the town center, the property offered the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. Waking up to clear crisp mornings was magical, and the proximity to local markets, cafes, and key adventure spots made exploring Moshi a breeze. The host, Emmanuel, was an absolute superstar. He was always available, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. From the moment I inquired about extending my booking, Emmanuel made the process seamless, ensuring that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. His warm hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond really stood out. The space itself was stunning. The room I stayed in was immaculately clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with authentic Tanzanian touches. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and after a day of exploring or hiking, it felt like sinking into a cloud. The amenities were everything I could have asked for. The shower had great water pressure with consistent hot water. What made this stay truly exceptional was the personalized care and experiences. Emmanuel was always ready with suggestions. He even helped me discover hidden gems in the area that I wouldn’t have found on my own. His knowledge of Moshi and his genuine passion for sharing it made every activity memorable. The breakfasts were another highlight. Every morning, I woke up to a delightful spread of fresh fruits, locally baked bread, and rich Tanzanian coffee. Emmanuel’s homemade pancakes were the cherry on top—delicious and made with so much care.

A nice quiet location outside of Moshi town with good views of Kilimanjaro when the weather is right, we were lucky enough! Also very friendly staff and owners as well as tasty food on the menu at a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend.

The owner is a world traveler. I like his taste. I have spent 10 days in Kenya before I arrived Tanzania. Some accommodations cost more than $300USD/night. This was the best one so far compared with those. The chef Martha is very talented and super nice. She even made a song for me, her dancing and singing brought lots of joy and fun to us. My friend is a 72 years old lady. She arrived two days earlier than me. Appreciate the owner drive her to town twice to get SIM card, exchange money and buy fruits. The local market is interesting. The avocado is so nice!

The place, the host and the workers are all amazing! It is the best place! You won’t regret staying there! Very calm surroundings, loved the pool, the rooms are very comfortable and clean. But the most amazing thing is Patricia (the host). She is exceptional! She will welcome you like a friend, she will give you amazing pieces of advice and, if you need anything, she will be very happy to help you. She helps her community and has such a big heart. Far's house is so nice, spacious, beautiful and calm. It's decorated beautifully and the beds are really comfortable. Everything is so clean - the house is cleaned everyday so I felt such at ease in Far's house and it was truly quiet and peaceful but close enough to Moshi Town.
