  • Small but efficient room. Few amenities, what I would call a "value room." Meets basic needs. Comfortable bed and nice linens. Giant drawer under bed for storing our stuff (too bad we can't open it all the way if the clock is plugged in). Great rain-water style shower head. If you like old industrial areas, this is your place--room overlooked a junk yard. Near lots of fast and cheap food options; our favorite was Tomato-n-Basil Pizza across the street.

  • Perfect budget (but cool) hotel in NYC for a single traveler. Well thought out for the most part, and makes you feel like you're in the future with everything you really need and no space wasted. The location was in the best area of Brooklyn.
