The place had everything that you would wish for including books to read. The balcony had a great view of the lake. the blacony also has a cozy sitting area and a table to enjoy your breakfast. The host has taken efforts to ensure that the travelers can explore the nearby places and have a good time. It is a pity that we were hear only for a day. Would surely come back again for a few days.

Really enjoyed our short stay in the Bauernhof Moadl. Located at the top of a mountain hill away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. You can see a big part of the Attersee from the road to the apartment. If you are an astronomy enthusiast (which I'm too), this is a good place to observe the night sky unobstructed of light pollution. I could even see a part of the Milky way in the morning. There is an observatory nearby but I'm not sure if it's accessible to the public. The host is a kind lady who speaks English.

What made this hotel truly exceptional was our lake view from the large and spacious balcony and the amazing breakfast. Not only the food was amazing at the breakfast, but the view overlooking the lake with perfect lighting, and outdoor dining--really perfection! We also enjoyed the private beach access. It is a nice plus that there are toilet facilities at this beach. Not only did we swim and sun during the day, but we went to the beach at night to watch the Perseids meteor shower and it was quite the show. The lakeside was quite dark with no ambient lighting so the viewing conditions were ideal. Thank you for the hospitality, we would come again in a heartbeat!

Hotel Irmgard se nachází v obci Strass im Attergau, 5 km od jezera. This property made it hard to leave Attersee. I adored the staff as well as the property. The parking is free, located in the front of the property. The bikes available for borrowing were a nice addition, too. If you prefer E-bikes, I would recommend renting them in the village. The breakfast was amazing, and I enjoyed having an assigned seat, I recommend the dinner, there is no need to go anywhere, as the staff provide a 4-course meal and one night, the Austrian buffet was great after hiking 30km. The property is kind to dogs, and there's a great walking path nearby. The room was spacious, with a spa shower and a beautiful terrace, overlooking the forest behind. I will forever adore the Attersee.

The family are the nicest, so welcoming and charming. I really loved them and they were a big part of my experience there.
