Hosts are very friendly and helpful. My wife had a ski accident and could not climb up the stairs. The hosts move us to a different apartment on the ground floor which help a great deal. Every apartments has its own washing machine which is a big plus when you stay for more than a few days. Both apartments we stayed are closed to town center, grocery stores, and restaurant. Ski lift is also within walking distance.

The facilities were as described and gave us more surprises than we had expected. Also, you can't beat walking outside and looking up at the surrounding mountains without being in awe. If I have the chance, I would definitely book again, especially in the wintertime.

This is a beautiful place to stay, you can see this hotel is loved and cared for, breakfast selection is great as they do a little hot food as well which suits my preference. We had 1 day by the pool which is amazing, the restaurant is fantastic too with the normal amount of choices for this region. Everything we eat was very good but make sure you book as it is popular, there are not too many choices to eat at nearby. Picture below is from our balcony... Incredible!

Hotel & Restaurant Dankl is located in the centre of Lofer in Salzburg’s Saalach Valley, only 100 metres from the cable car. The spacious rooms offer free WiFi access, and there is a pastry shop on site. After a very long motorcycle ride from Denmark, the hotel was a warm and comfortable welcome in the Austian alps. We had e nice dinner, the service was incredible and the breakfast the next morning was EXCELLENT!!
