We were lucky to be the very first guests, and we can confidently say it’s in a great location, with a beautiful view from the balcony. It’s peaceful and surrounded by the lake. Less than a one-minute walk to the back of the house gives you access to the lake, lounge chairs, and a stunning view (including the sunrise if you're an early bird). Walking less than two minutes in the opposite direction gives you the best view of the sunset. Inside, the bedroom is splendid and super comfortable—we couldn’t have slept better. The small kitchen has everything you need to prepare snacks or meals to get through the day and save money. We even found vanilla for our coffee, and the coffee machine was excellent! The bathroom is spotless and fully equipped, including moisturizing creams, bug spray, and toothbrushes with toothpaste. Jodean, the host, was always kind and available, ready to help and offer advice whenever needed. And the breakfasts were delicious! Jodean gave us multiple options in advance, which we really appreciated—it wasn’t limited to the typical "American breakfast.". The most outstanding part was the decor—including Jodean’s beautiful paintings—and how thoughtfully everything was arranged. Words probably fall short in describing the wonderful experience we had, but if we had to sum it up: beautiful and cozy! Tobermory Tides is absolutely recommended. I would return without hesitation.

Last year, I've stayed at another home by the same host, and loved that one as well!
