מלון לאגו מאג'ורה (Hotel Lago Maggiore - Welcome!) ממוקם על טיילת האגם היפה של לוקרנו (Locarno), במרחק צעדים ספורים ממרכז העיר. Everything went well. The staff was really friendly. We extended our stay for a night, and all went just well, and we kept the same room. The breakfast was good with many varieties. The room was spacious and clean. We even got bicycles that allowed us to explore the cities more. The location is fantastic. We had our room on the 4th floor, and the view was just breathtaking. We even received some gifts to carry back home. WE Highly recommend the hotel.

This was one of the most beautiful and luxurious places where we have ever stayed! Our room with huge terrace was gorgeous, both modern and functional, and tastefully designed with antique furniture. The bed was large and very comfortable. We slept with the double doors wide open, and woke up with a view of the mountains. Since the weather was good, we spent much time on the terrace, which was our extended living room. The fancy espresso maker in the room did not have decaf capsules, so after mentioning this to our hosts, they graciously provided a different espresso maker in the shared kitchen. That kitchen has everything you could wish for. The bathroom attached to our room was new and gorgeous, with a bathtub as well as a shower.

The hotel is located in a small village on a place in a nostalgic building. There is a nice courtyard and the hotel has also a resuarant, where the breakfast is served. The 3- or 4-bed room consisted of 2 separate rooms, divided through curtains. The first room was bigger than the second and we had a private bathroom, which was outside of the sleeping rooms, due to the architecture of the building. The personnel was very friendly and welcoming. We loved the rich breakfast. There is a parking lot for guests (which is a little bit hidden, when you arrive from the street). This place is good for a rip with a car, visitng that region and the Maggia valley.

The location was so beautiful, away from the crowds with magnificent view. The lady who takes care of the hotel was very accommodating and gave us good tips regarding the area.

Great hosts, very good location, amazing breakfast. We always stay here when we are in Ascona and definitely recommend it to others🌞
