Berggasthaus Tannalp is located at 1,976 metres above sea level, 1 to 2 walking hour away from Melchsee-Frutt, surrounded by nature and mountains. The Tannensee lake is 600 metres away. Free WiFi is available in some areas. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

A sunbathing terrace and free parking are also available. This was a wonderful place. I recommend it highly. Be sure to have dinner, it was wonderful.
