The view is fantastic, facilities are spotless and the kitchenette suited our needs. Breakfast was well presented and plentiful, cannot fault anything with our stay at all. We will be back....
Lauterbrunnen
Built in the 1890s, this historic hotel was one of the first hotels in Lauterbrunnen. The family-run Hotel Staubbach offers panoramic views of the Staubbach Falls and Lauterbrunnen Valley. It is located 600 metres from the Lauterbrunnen station and offers free parking and free Wi-Fi. We loved our stay! We stayed in 4 different hotels during our Swiss trip and this one was by far the best even if it wasn’t the most expensive. Staff was very friendly - they upgraded our room and provided baby bed for free. The view from the room is incredible (we had mountains but there is a free access to the balcony on the third floor if you want to take pics of the waterfall). Location was perfect. Parking is very specious. Breakfast was great and the mood in the restaurant is very relaxed. They also have a tea/coffee available for free the whole day and a playgroup corner for kids. You can find a booklet with the information about the area/things to do and hiking routes in the room that we found very interesting and useful!
Zermatt
Hotel Jägerhof enjoys a quiet location close to the centre of Zermatt, a 5-minute walk from the Klein Matterhorn cable car. It has a gym and offers free WiFi.
The rooms have a flat-screen TV with many international channels. The Matterhorn can be seen from some of the rooms.

Loved this hotel! Felt super welcome from the moment we arrived, Jeannette and the rest of the staff are all absolutely lovely! Hotel is in a perfect location with amazing views but just enough away from the centre to give you a bit more privacy. Rooms were very clean and modern, even though we stayed in the “budget room”. Absolutely recommend this place 😊
A great hotel with around 200 years history. Very well maintained with very clean facilities. It is in great location with view of lake and mountain which makes it ideal for couple or family vacation. We really enjoyed staying in this hotel and my boys asked to extend our stay. Our next stay will be definitely more than a week.

The facilities were spotless, the staff helpful and the 4 person female dorm comfortable with its own toilet and large shower. I appreciated the allocation of a lower bunk to enable me to deal with some mobility issues and the company of the other women was pleasant.

ideal location, at bus turnaround point with guest card free travel into Grindelwald. View from balcony of North Face of the Eiger and a sun trap in the afternoons. The kitchen had all you would need, beds very comfortable,everywhere very clean. Very quiet location except when next door played the alpine horn a couple of times, but added to the atmosphere of the place.

The apartment was spotless, and kitchen and everything in the kitchen was very clean. Location is great, 1min from the skilift. Denner was just across, and Coop is a 5-minute walk. The kitchen has everything you need.
The property was in ideal location in the center. The property was very clean and organised! You have all the basic kitchen utensils but no ingredients. You need to buy your own cooking groceries. There is a car park available which is free of charge. The apartment is very spacious- has three rooms, one double and three single bed. Overall a good apartment for a family stay!
The location was ideal, as it was walking distance from the Interlaken West train station. There was a good spread of food provided for their breakfast. The room was very clean, the toilet was spotless and the bed was very comfortable to sleep on.
