The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and room service. Everything! It was a peaceful oasis in which to gather ourselves before heading to the airport. The owners were lovely, and breakfast bought to us outside our rooms a real treat. We thoroughly recommend!!

The property features pool and garden views, and is 15 km from Edgardo Baltodano Stadium. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. Our stay at the Amazilia Guesthouse came close to perfection. The staff was friendly, the accomodation perfectly clean, with a working A/C and ample space to put your things. But it was the little things which really stood out in comparison to other accomodations in Costa Rica: the good toilet paper, as opposed to the one where you can see through. A hot shower with sufficient water pressure. A non-leaking shower cabin. Good light and a good mirror in the bathroom. A well-working and clean dustbin, where you don´t have to worry about your personal safety when putting the used toilet paper in. We even got a packed breakfast as we had to leave early on our last day. The location requires a car and is quite remote, but perfect if you plan accordingly and want to visit the (equally remote) Rincon de la Vieja National Park. All in all, highly recommended!

Would stay here again without hesitation, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, they provided in-depth information on how to catch the bus to the boarder. They were also very kind in letting us have a late checkout due to food poisoning and even called another hostel to find us a room since they were booked up. Wifi was fast, rooms were clean, air conditioning worked great.

The homestay has family rooms. beautiful quiet place, my husband and I enjoyed the peace and quiet. The room was smaller but very nice and clean. It was a short walk to the beach. The owners are very nice and listened to our requests. I recommend it.

The apartments are so beautiful and you feel at home as soon as you enter it. It’s made with much love and has a beautiful design. The location is of course a bit off but you have 2 restaurants in walking distance and so many nice beaches around. Out of all my accommodations I had in CR this was my favorite. Also the owner is just the best person ever! Such a warmhearted, funny woman, always there to help if you need anything! :))

The food at Taru restaurant is marvelous, the wine cellar has an amazing wine selection, and the sommelier takes the time to show you all the options you have. The room had a work area, which was perfect since I had a couple of meetings. The internet never failed. The coffee in the room was perfect, making you feel so comfortable that you don't have to leave. The entire place is designed for you to enjoy, relax, and be worry-free. They pick you up and bring you back from your private suite to the restaurant, pool, or just because...... They genuinely care about you so that, as a guest, you don’t have to worry about anything except relaxing and having a great time.
