The accommodation offers room service, a tour desk and currency exchange for guests. We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Hotel Bamboo. Giselle (sorry if this is incorrect spelling) was an amazing host. Always making sure we had everything we needed and serving us a hot tico breakfast plus fruit, coffee & juice both days. Wifi & AC was very good, pool was small but nice to cool down and sit beside to read our books. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean. Good parking out front which is very close to the rooms. Easy 10 minute walk to town & beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Facilities for disabled guests are also available. Everything was impeccably clean. The room is spacious and cozy. The bed is a king size and very comfy. The breakfast is served at your door - in previous day you just need to inform your breakfast options and time of delivery. The hotel is a brand new building and everything is carefully run by the owners themselves. Extra tip: In front of the hotel there's a stable with horses available for a ride. We SUPER recommend this ride, as we had a lot of fun. It lasted 2 hours and on top of the ride itself, in nature and at the beach watching the sunset, our guide (Angel) was very friendly. He shared his knowledge about the local flora and spotted animals, such as monkeys and sloths. We even stopped for a coconut water drink, that he opened for us, right from the tree. It is really worth it! Comparable to other rides we've seen in Costa Rica, it was also very affordable.

It was spotlessly clean, had amazing views and the most incredible tree I have ever seen. You can walk around the beautiful gardens and the owners were very friendly and helpful.

Our plans were flexible and we decided to stay again in Manuel Antonio and this is when we found out about Mountain Top Hotel, which has THE BEST price-benefit ratio The beds are suuuuuuper comfortable, the views are breathtaking, the fact that you have a tour included is mind-blowing and they also have a really good breakfast! We did our tour with Jario, who was super nice, could speak very good Portuguese and who thought us A LOT about both fauna and flora of the area. We were able to spot quite a lot of wildlife (including the black and green poisonous frog!), which was the cherry on the top.

The hosts were warm and helpful, the property was spotless and secure, and the setting was beautiful. No A/C, but the cool evening temps made it unnecessary. Excellent breakfasts, accurate photos (though even better in person), and a great location—less than 5 mins to town with a restaurant and supermarket nearby. Highly recommend!
